Elias Friemel graduated from the University of Economics, the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, and the Joahnnes Kepler university in Linz. He studied business administration with the focus on finance and knowledge management specializing in international investment vehicles. Inspired by the second bachelor’s degree in real estate, he completed two master’s degrees: “Economic and Business Analytics,” and “International Management” with a focus on institutional portfolio strategies and artificial intelligence. Additionally, he completed exchange programs with the Taltech University in Estonia and the Aarhus University in Denmark.
In parallel to his academic career, Elias has completed several internships with renowned property investment companies and worked with one of the biggest landowners in Austria. In July 2022, he joined GalCap Europe and is responsible for research, data management and the evaluation of new investments. In addition, he focusses on sustainability and portfolio management in the CEE region.
